When most people around the Inner Sea think of Andoran, the first thing they picture is an Eagle Knight, resplendent in blue and silver armor. Ever since the People's Revolt, the order has existed to safeguard the core principles of Andoran: equality, justice, and liberty. These knights are recognized for their loyalty to the ideals of the nation above all else, including personal ambition or service to a commanding officer. Most Eagle Knights serve a specific branch—the home guard of the Golden Legion, the evangelical Steel Falcons, or the clandestine Twilight Talons—but all Eagle Knights dedicate themselves to the stability and integrity of Andoran. Their newest cohort, the Platinum Wing, is experimenting with firearms.

archetype.Outside of Andoran, Steel Falcons are, by far, the most encountered members of the Eagle Knights. Traveling in small groups trained in diplomacy but equipped for battle, members of the Steel Falcons serve as the political and philosophical vanguard of the nation, attempting to spread the nation's influence and the ideals of Common Rule across the Inner Sea and beyond.
Steel Falcons have a reputation for being unyielding in their goals but flexible in how they accomplish those goals. If what's best for Andoran can be achieved by official or peaceful channels, so much the better. However, when diplomatic efforts break down, the Steel Falcons have a wide authority to engage in espionage or use outright violence, as they did during the Battle of Hellknight Hill. Now, many active squads lead daring raids into Chelaxian territory. Time out in the field has allowed the Falcons to hone their survival skills and practice guerrilla warfare against the legions of Hell.
The Gray Corsairs, the naval branch of the Steel Falcons, have dedicated themselves completely to the war effort, sinking every ship flying Chelaxian colors and many that they suspect of being allies of the enemy. The Corsairs would love to break the blockade at the Arch of Aroden, though they've thus far been unable to do so. As shipments to Andoran are cut off, the Corsairs have taken to seizing goods from any Chelaxian trading vessels for the good of Andoran, a move that has complicated efforts to build support for the country.
The Steel Falcons attract the most ardent recruits from Andoran's army and navy, and the branch's enthusiasm for liberty, justice, and Common Rule borders on religious zeal. In fact, reports of small miracles performed by the Falcons have become increasingly common. Talmandor, the celestial patron of Andoran and of the Steel Falcons in particular, makes no claims to the power of a deity and brushes off attempts at worship, but it's undeniable that Steel Falcons call on him in their battle cries.
Additional Feats: 6th Favored Terrain; 7th Evangelize; 10th Terrain Master; 16th Sense the Unseen

DedicationEach archetype's dedication feat represents your character's dedicated effort learning a new set of abilities, making it impossible to split your focus and pursue another archetype at the same time. Once you take a dedication feat, you can't select a different dedication feat until you complete your dedication by taking two other feats from your current archetype. You can't retrain a dedication feat as long as you have any other feats from that archetype.
