The Taste of Magic Feat 4

ArchetypeMagical
Source Pathfinder Impossible Magic
Prerequisites Living Nexus Dedication

Each working of magic has a unique scent and frequency of vibration. You have trained yourself to recognize the minute differences in magics, as if distinguishing between different odors. You gain scent as an imprecise sense with a range of 30 feet. This scent can only detect creatures, items, and effects that are currently under the effect of a spell or have the arcane, divine, magical, occult, or primal trait. In addition, you may use [/act track skill=arcana], [/act track skill=occultism], [/act track skill=nature], or [/act track skill=religion] instead of Survival to [/act track] creatures you could sense with this ability.

Traits

Common

Anything that doesn't list another rarity trait (uncommon, rare, or unique) automatically has the common trait. This rarity indicates that an ability, item, or spell is available to all players who meet the prerequisites for it. A creature of this rarity is generally known and can be summoned with the appropriate summon spell.

Archetype

This feat belongs to an archetype.

Magical

Something with the magical trait is imbued with magical energies not tied to a specific tradition of magic. Some items or effects are closely tied to a particular tradition of magic. In these cases, the item has the arcane, divine, occult, or primal trait instead of the magical trait. Any of these traits indicate that the item is magical.
