Spellshifter Dedication Feat 2
Source Pathfinder Impossible Magic
Prerequisites trained in Arcana
You can exert your will over magical spells cast in your vicinity, potentially altering or controlling their effects. You accomplish this through the use of a spellshifting conduit, a magical object of your choice that has light Bulk and can be held in one hand. If your conduit is lost or destroyed, you can train yourself to use a new one by spending 10 minutes attuning yourself to it. You gain the Shift Spell action and the Share the Burden spellshift.
Spellshift—Shift Burden You share the burden of a spell, allowing you to share control with the caster. If Sustaining a spell with this spellshift causes a creature to attempt a saving throw, it is attempted against the higher of your class DC or spell DC. If the spell requires a spell attack roll, make the attack using your Arcana modifier instead of the spell's normal spell attack modifier.
Critical Success If the spell is sustainable, you can Sustain the spell as a free action as though you had cast the spell. For the remainder of the spell's duration, you can Sustain the spell as though you were the caster.

You may or may not cast spells, but you've always possessed an uncanny knack for attuning yourself to the ebb and flow of the mystical currents that power them. Thanks to specialized training or natural aptitude, you've honed this gift into the ability to exert a modicum of control over magical spells cast nearby, allowing you to reshape and repurpose their energies to suit your own designs. You might use this talent for any number of purposes: to enhance the spells cast by you or your allies, to weaken and confound magic-wielding enemies, or even just to covertly humiliate rival spellcasters foolish enough to cross you.
As a spellshifter, you carry a special implement called a conduit, a seemingly mundane tool or object that you use to tap into the magical vibrations that suffuse the world around you. Only you can use this conduit, and every spellshifter's conduit is unique. Yours might represent something distinctive about your personality, your relationship to magic, or the circumstances under which you first discovered your powers.
Spellshifters aren't widely known in many parts of the world, and individuals with the innate potential to become one are sometimes regarded by distrustful spellcasters as jinxes whose mere presence might cause magic to malfunction or behave unpredictably. Past experience with these sorts of superstitions might drive you to actively conceal your powers from those who might fear them, or it might motivate you to seek out any opportunity to flaunt them openly, refusing to be cowed by the prejudice of others.

DedicationEach archetype's dedication feat represents your character's dedicated effort learning a new set of abilities, making it impossible to split your focus and pursue another archetype at the same time. Once you take a dedication feat, you can't select a different dedication feat until you complete your dedication by taking two other feats from your current archetype. You can't retrain a dedication feat as long as you have any other feats from that archetype.
