Range 60 feet
Target 1 creature standing on the ground
Saving Throw Reflex

You place a portal on the ground directly beneath a creature. That target immediately plummets into extradimensional space, falling a distance through an infinite, featureless void before being forcibly ejected from a portal that appears right above their original space and taking the appropriate fall damage. The target must attempt a Reflex saving throw. The DC to Arrest a Fall is equal to your spell DC.

Critical Success The target is unaffected.

Success The target falls 10 feet through the void before reappearing.

Failure The target falls 20 feet through the void before reappearing.

Critical Failure The target falls 40 feet through the void before reappearing.

Heightened (5th) You can target up to 5 creatures within range.

Traits

Common

Anything that doesn't list another rarity trait (uncommon, rare, or unique) automatically has the common trait. This rarity indicates that an ability, item, or spell is available to all players who meet the prerequisites for it. A creature of this rarity is generally known and can be summoned with the appropriate summon spell.

Concentrate

An action with this trait requires a degree of mental concentration and discipline.

Extradimensional

This effect or item creates an extradimensional space. An extradimensional effect placed inside another extradimensional space ceases to function until it is removed.

Manipulate

You must physically manipulate an item or make gestures to use an action with this trait. Creatures without a suitable appendage can't perform actions with this trait. Manipulate actions often trigger reactions.

Teleportation

Teleportation effects allow you to instantaneously move from one point in space to another. Teleportation does not usually trigger reactions based on movement.
