Constant Spells

A constant spell affects the monster without the monster needing to cast it, and its duration is unlimited. If a constant spell gets counteracted, the monster can reactivate it by spending the normal spellcasting actions the spell requires.

Charg's Final Gift

As soon as Caydserris is reduced to 0 Hit Points, he shrieks in exaltation. His head rips free from his body, which crumbles to the ground as a matrix of flesh and bone extend outward around his head, transforming him into a monstrous unique sahkil. His head and face remain, but rather than atop a humanoid body, it sits at the center of a great wheel of bone and gristle, held in place at the center by thick strings of viscera, entrails, veins, and vertebrae. Eyes and mouths open and weep along the wheel's meat-and-bristle-encrusted rim, as do five long distorted skinless arms that end in seven-fingered talons. Caydserris's wheel body floats in the air and slowly rotates, yet his head remains at all times aligned upright as the grisly spokes that connect it to the wheel constantly rip free and reattach to hold the head in place. All PCs within 60 feet must succeed at a DC 33 will save or become Frightened 1 (Frightened 3 on a critical failure), and Caydserris regains 100 healing HP. At the same moment, Florin's soul wrenches completely free from Caydserris's dropped mace and rises up with a howl of rage to swoop back and forth through his new body.

In this new form, Caydserris's Cursebound condition increases to 2 (or increases his current cursebound condition value by 1). He loses his mace Strike but gains his fearful claw Strike. He can't cast spells in this form and loses his base Speed (but not his fly Speed). If he survives, whether or not Charg allows him to eventually return to his human form is up to you.

Florin's Revenge

On the start of each of Caydserris's turns, after he's gained Charg's final gift, Florin's vengeful soul deals 6d6 spirit damage to him (DC 35 will save).

Charg's Blessing Two Actions (curse, cursebound, divine, morph)

Caydserris increases his Cursebound condition's value by 1, then targets a creature he can see within 60 feet. That creature's body distorts and partially transforms, changing limbs into monstrous appendages that are difficult to control. The target must attempt a DC 36 fortitude save with the following results; regardless of the save, the target is temporarily immune to Charg's Blessing for 24 hours.

Critical Success The target recovers their body's shape immediately and is unaffected; Caydserris's cursebound condition value increases by 2 instead of 1 for using this ability.

Success The target becomes Clumsy 1 for 1 round.

Failure The target becomes clumsy 1 with an unlimited duration.

Critical Failure The target becomes Clumsy 2 with an unlimited duration.

Curse of Ancestral Meddling

When Caydserris has the Cursebound condition, he becomes Clumsy with a value equal to his cursebound value as Arudora spirits—particularly that of Florin Kindler—vie for control of his mind and hinder his movements.

Terror (emotion, fear, mental)

Caydserris can only make fearful claw Strikes once he receives Charg's Final Gift. A creature that takes damage from a fearful claw strike becomes Frightened 1 (Frightened 2 on a critical hit).

Unholy Bloodshed Reaction (concentrate)

Frequency once per day

Trigger Caydserris critically succeeds at an attack roll against a holy creature with his Unholy Mace

Effect The target takes 3d8 bleed.

Whispers of Weakness One Action (cursebound)

Spirits guide Caydserris. He increases his Cursebound value by 1, then targets one creature within 60 feet and gains knowledge of their weaknesses, which of their saving throw modifiers is lowest, and a +2 status bonus to his next attack roll against that foe before the end of his turn; the target is then temporarily immune for 1 day.
