You create abundant music and rally a crowd into a dance. You and every creature in the area move together in laughter and connection. The dancers lose themselves and their minds within it, as their bodies and spirits are overtaken with jubilation.


Critical Success The joy of movement cleanses those who participate. Whenever a creature within the emanation Performs, they can also attempt to counteract their highest-rank detrimental mental effect using the rank of this ritual as the counteract rank. If they do, they gain a +4 status bonus to their check. They can only attempt to counteract an effect once every hour.

Success As critical success, except creatures do not gain a status bonus to their checks.

Failure The dance fails to release the participants from their worries.

Critical Failure You lose control of the dance and become swept along in its energy. After 4 hours of dancing, you finally return to your senses and gain the Fatigued condition. Other creatures in the area are unaffected.


Heightened (4th) Add curses to the effect that you attempt to counteract on a success.


Traits

Uncommon

Something of uncommon rarity requires special training or comes from a particular culture or part of the world. Some character choices give access to uncommon options, and the GM can choose to allow access for anyone. Less is known about uncommon creatures than common creatures. They typically can't be summoned. The DC of Recall Knowledge checks related to these creature is increased by 2.

Aura

An aura is an emanation that continually ebbs out from you, affecting creatures within a certain radius. Aura can also refer to the magical signature of an item.

Emotion

This effect alters a creature's emotions. Effects with this trait always have the mental trait as well. Creatures with special training or that have mechanical or artificial intelligence are immune to emotion effects.

Healing

A healing effect restores a creature's body, typically by restoring Hit Points, but sometimes by removing diseases or other debilitating effects.

Mental

A mental effect can alter the target's mind. It has no effect on an object or a mindless creature.

Vitality

Effects with this trait heal living creatures with energy from the Forge of Creation, deal vitality energy damage to undead, or manipulate vitality energy.
