A destiny blade is a +1 throneglass longsword crafted to appear as a replica of Aroden's legendary sword, the Azlanti Diamond, affording lower-ranking knights in his service an opportunity to carry a bit of history with them in battle. On a critical hit with a destiny blade, the magic absorbs a portion of the target's luck and passes it on to the wielder, enhancing their destiny while hampering the victim. The target takes a –1 status penalty to saving throws and the wielder gains a +1 status bonus to saving throws. This lasts for 1 minute or until the wielder succeeds or critically succeeds at any saving throw, whichever comes first. This is a fortune effect for the wielder and a misfortune effect for the target struck.
