This embossed steel buckler (Hardness 4, HP 12, BT 6) is designed to not interfere with the hand an archer uses to pull back their bowstring. When you Raise a Shield with this buckler, the circumstance bonus to AC it grants against ranged Strikes increases to +2. This increased bonus doesn't apply to unusually massive ranged projectiles (such as boulders or ballista bolts).
