Lifesense (occult)

The Scourge senses the vital essence of living creatures within range.

Lifesense allows a monster to sense the vital essence of living and undead creatures within the listed range. The sense can distinguish between the vitality energy animating living creatures and the void energy animating undead creatures, much as sight distinguishes colors.

Frightful Presence (aura, emotion, fear, mental)

DC 36 will

A creature that first enters the area must attempt a Will save.

Regardless of the result of the saving throw, the creature is temporarily immune to this monster's Frightful Presence for 1 minute.

Critical Success The creature is unaffected by the presence.

Success The creature is Frightened 1.

Failure The creature is Frightened 2.

Critical Failure The creature is Frightened 4.

Note: A radius for this aura was not provided by Paizo

Reactive Strike Reaction

Trigger A creature within the monster's reach uses a manipulate action or a move action, makes a ranged attack, or leaves a square during a move action it's using.

Effect The monster attempts a melee Strike against the triggering creature. If the attack is a critical hit and the trigger was a manipulate action, the monster disrupts that action. This Strike doesn't count toward the monster's multiple attack penalty, and its multiple attack penalty doesn't apply to this Strike.

Void Healing

A creature with void healing draws health from void energy rather than vitality energy. It is damaged by vitality damage and is not healed by vitality healing effects. It does not take void damage, and it is healed by void effects that heal undead.

Bladed Levitation

The Scourge has a fly speed of 30 feet, but must end its turn within no more than 5 feet off the ground, otherwise it falls and takes damage as normal

Final Execution Two Actions

The scourge targets a Paralyzed creature with a blade melee Strike. A successful hit is automatically a critical hit and the target creature must succeed at a DC 36 fortitude or become Doomed 1. If the target is already doomed, they instead increased their doomed value by 1.

Life Sap

A creature damaged by the Scourge's blade Strikes must succeed at a DC 36 fortitude save or become Drained 1; if the target is already drained, they instead increased their drained value by 1, to a maximum of Drained 3. On a critical failure, the target is also Paralyzed until the end of the Scourge's next turn.

To Shreds Two Actions (manipulate, void)

The Scourge explodes into a whirling tornado of metal and blades, at the cost of briefly leaving its warshard core vulnerable. All creatures within a 20-foot emanation must succeed at a DC 33 reflex save or take 10d10[slashing],3d8 void damage. The Scourge can't use To Shreds for 1d4 rounds.

If the Scourge is targeted by a Reactive Strike as a result of using this action, it takes a –2 circumstance penalty to its AC; if the Reactive Strike disrupts this action, this penalty remains until the start of the Scourge's next turn.

Effect: To Shreds (AC Penalty)

Traits

Unique

A rules element with this trait is one-of-a-kind. The DC of Recall Knowledge checks related to creatures with this trait is increased by 10.

Undead

Once living, these creatures were infused after death with void energy and soul-corrupting unholy magic. When reduced to 0 Hit Points, an undead creature is destroyed. Undead creatures are damaged by vitality energy and are healed by void energy, and don't benefit from healing vitality effects.
