When the reefclaw is reduced to 0 hit points it can spend this reaction to make a claw Strike before dying.
Constrict
If the reefclaw has a creature Grabbed or Restrained, it can spend one action to crush them in its coils. The creature takes 1d6 bludgeoning damage depending on its DC 17 fortitude save.
Reefclaw Venom (poison)A target that takes slashing damage from the reefclaw's claw Strike must succeed at a DC 17 fortitude save or take 1d6 poison damage.
Grab
When the reeflclaw succeeds at its claw Strike, it can use this action immediately after to attempt to Grapple the target. This Grapple doesn't apply or count toward the reefclaw's multiple attack penalty.
Reefclaws are aquatic monsters that resemble huge shrimp or lobsters. Though reefclaws can't speak, they are intelligent enough to understand the local language of humanoids near their hunting grounds.
Traits
Anything that doesn't list another rarity trait (uncommon, rare, or unique) automatically has the common trait. This rarity indicates that an ability, item, or spell is available to all players who meet the prerequisites for it. A creature of this rarity is generally known and can be summoned with the appropriate summon spell.
AberrationAberrations are creatures from beyond the planes or corruptions of the natural order.
AquaticAquatic creatures are at home underwater. Their bludgeoning and slashing unarmed Strikes don't take the usual –2 penalty for being underwater. Aquatic creatures can breathe water but not air.
