Aura of Repose (aura, divine)

60 feet. Corpses within the aura don't decay. This aura also attempts to counteract any effect that would transform a creature in the aura into undead (counteract rank 2, counteract modifier +5).

Void Healing

A creature with void healing draws health from void energy rather than vitality energy. It is damaged by vitality damage and is not healed by vitality healing effects. It does not take void damage, and it is healed by void effects that heal undead.

Pounce One Action

The mummified cat Strides and makes a Strike at the end of its movement. If the mummified cat began this action Hidden, it remains hidden until after this ability's Strike.

Sneak Attack

The mummified cat deals an additional 1d4 precision damage to Off-Guard creatures.

Divine Innate Spells (DC 15, +7 to hit)

1st Level: Fear

Some of the wealthy have their favored pets mummified or wish to use the animal's fractured memories but strong instincts and natural weapons to turn them into formidable tomb guardians. No other animal was so trusted in the afterlife as felines, who were almost without exception buried alongside deceased pharaohs. Though small in stature, a clowder of mummified cats has ended the life of many a would-be tomb robber

The versatility of mummification allows the creation of mummies through a wide range of methods—nature, ritual, alchemy, and combinations of all these.

Traits

Common

Anything that doesn't list another rarity trait (uncommon, rare, or unique) automatically has the common trait. This rarity indicates that an ability, item, or spell is available to all players who meet the prerequisites for it. A creature of this rarity is generally known and can be summoned with the appropriate summon spell.

Mummy

A mummy is an undead creature created from a preserved corpse.

Undead

Once living, these creatures were infused after death with void energy and soul-corrupting unholy magic. When reduced to 0 Hit Points, an undead creature is destroyed. Undead creatures are damaged by vitality energy and are healed by void energy, and don't benefit from healing vitality effects.

Unholy

Effects with the unholy trait are tied to powerful magical forces of cruelty and sin. They often have stronger effects on holy creatures. Creatures with this trait are strongly devoted to unholy causes, and often have weakness to holy. If a creature with weakness to unholy uses an unholy item or effect, it takes damage from its weakness.
