Remove a Condition One Action (concentrate)

Effect Lythazossa ends one condition affecting her.

Constant Spells

A constant spell affects the monster without the monster needing to cast it, and its duration is unlimited. If a constant spell gets counteracted, the monster can reactivate it by spending the normal spellcasting actions the spell requires.

+1 Status to All Saves vs. MagicMythic Resilience (Reflex)

The creature treats its saving throws with the associated save as one degree of success better than it rolled. This is not cumulative with other effects that change their degree of success, like the incapacitation trait (except for rolling a natural 1 or 20). Each time the monster gains mythic resilience, choose one save. The ability should apply to the creature's highest saves first.

Reactive Strike (Spectral Tail Only) Reaction

Trigger A creature within the monster's reach uses a manipulate action or a move action, makes a ranged attack, or leaves a square during a move action it's using.

Effect The monster attempts a melee Strike against the triggering creature. If the attack is a critical hit and the trigger was a manipulate action, the monster disrupts that action. This Strike doesn't count toward the monster's multiple attack penalty, and its multiple attack penalty doesn't apply to this Strike.

Rejuvenation (divine)

When Lythazossa is destroyed, she re-forms after 2d4 days in the Prosperity Vault, fully healed. She can be permanently destroyed if the apocalypse seed is removed from Varisia.

Undying Myth Free Action

Cost all of Lythazossa's Mythic Points

Trigger Lythazossa would be destroyed and has at least 1 Mythic Point

Effect Lythazossa remains active, and recovers 140 healing Hit Points.

Void Healing

A creature with void healing draws health from void energy rather than vitality energy. It is damaged by vitality damage and is not healed by vitality healing effects. It does not take void damage, and it is healed by void effects that heal undead.

Calamitous Roar One Action (auditory, divine, emotion, fear, mental)

Lythazossa laments her cursed fate. Each living creature within 30 feet attempts a DC 42 will save with the following results.

Critical Success The creature is unaffected and is temporarily immune to Calamitous Roar for 1 minute.

Success The creature is unaffected.

Failure The creature becomes Frightened 2

Critical Failure The creature becomes Frightened 3

Recharge One Action (concentrate)

Cost 1 Mythic Point

Effect Lythazossa can use Soul-Melting Breath again.

Reroll Free Action (fortune)

Cost 1 Mythic Point

Trigger Lythazossa fails a check

Effect Lythazossa rerolls the check.

Soul-Melting Breath Two Actions (acid, divine)

Lythazossa expels a 60-foot cone of ghostly acid that melts a creature's very soul, dealing 20d6 spirit damage to creatures in the area (DC 42 will save). The ghostly acid also saps the life from affected creatures. At the beginning of Lythazossa's next turn, each creature that failed the Reflex save must succeed at a DC 42 fortitude save or become Drained 1 (Drained 2 on a critical failure). Lythazossa can't use Soul-Melting Breath again for 1d4 rounds.

Telekinetic Assault Two Actions (divine)

Lythazossa cries out in pain and anguish, hurling small objects and debris is a 30-foot emanation. Creatures in the area take 10d6 bludgeoning damage (DC 42 reflex save).

Vestige of an Ancient Curse (curse, primal)

When Lythazossa hits a creature with her jaws Strike, the target must succeed at a DC 42 will save or become Enfeebled 2 until Lythazossa's spirit is put to rest. If the target critically fails this saving throw, Lythazossa regains 40 healing HP, and the target is instead Enfeebled 3.

Primal Innate Spells (DC 42, +34 to hit)

4th Level: Unfettered Movement (Constant)
6th Level: Truesight (Constant)

Traits

Unique

A rules element with this trait is one-of-a-kind. The DC of Recall Knowledge checks related to creatures with this trait is increased by 10.

Ghost

Lost souls that haunt the world as incorporeal undead are called ghosts.

Incorporeal

An incorporeal creature or object has no physical form. It can pass through solid objects, including walls. When inside an object, an incorporeal creature can't perceive, attack, or interact with anything outside the object, and if it starts its turn in an object, it is slowed 1 until the end of its turn. A corporeal and an incorporeal creature can pass through one another, but they can't end their movement in each other's space. An incorporeal creature can't attempt Strength-based checks against physical creatures or objects—only against incorporeal ones—unless those objects have the ghost touch property rune. Likewise, a corporeal creature can't attempt Strength-based checks against incorporeal creatures or objects. Incorporeal creatures usually have immunity to effects or conditions that require a physical body, like disease, poison, and precision damage. They usually have resistance against all damage (except force damage, spirit damage, and damage from Strikes with the ghost touch property rune), with double the resistance against non-magical damage.

Mythic

Options with this trait grant or utilize mythic power. Feats with the mythic trait can only be taken by mythic characters, who are typically characters with a mythic Calling.

Monsters with the mythic trait have access to a pool of Mythic Points and are particularly strong for creatures of their level. Many mythic monsters are either resistant or entirely immune to attacks from non-mythic creatures and weapons.

Spells with the mythic trait require the expenditure of a Mythic Point in order to be cast, and items with the mythic trait require the expenditure of a Mythic Point in order to use their activated abilities.

Weapons with the mythic trait overcome the resistances and immunities of mythic monsters.

Spirit

Effects with this trait can affect creatures with spiritual essence and might deal spirit damage. A creature with this trait is defined by its spiritual essence. Spirit creatures often lack a material form.

Undead

Once living, these creatures were infused after death with void energy and soul-corrupting unholy magic. When reduced to 0 Hit Points, an undead creature is destroyed. Undead creatures are damaged by vitality energy and are healed by void energy, and don't benefit from healing vitality effects.

Unholy

Effects with the unholy trait are tied to powerful magical forces of cruelty and sin. They often have stronger effects on holy creatures. Creatures with this trait are strongly devoted to unholy causes, and often have weakness to holy. If a creature with weakness to unholy uses an unholy item or effect, it takes damage from its weakness.
